Earlier this year, we decided to take on a twelve-day road trip around Iceland, and what an adventure! Living out of a camper van is not for everyone, but I believe there is no other way to do it if you want to see the land. The freedom you get from being able to drive basically wherever you want (weather permitting) is something else! This is one Country that does not disappoint. If you are into wildlife, endless landscapes, varied weather conditions, waterfalls, glaciers, and the unknown, this is for you! Traveling late April, the season was changing. Sadly, we were unable to get into the Highlands due to the snow-covered conditions from Winter, but a trip for next time! Covering over 2,600 km, we started in Reykjavik and made our way east, slowly making our way around. A few extra days would have been ideal to cover the Northwest. If you would like to know more about the route, campsites we stayed and any other info, please feel free to reach out. For now, I’ll let the images do the talking…. a quick special thanks to Cozy Campers who delivered a well maintained van, great communication, and all-around first-class service, thank you! Creative clothes drying methods, highly recommend Cozy Campers this van did not mis a beat!
Dining table folds down into a huge double bed, being 6 foot 4 this was a bonus, having a work station for editing on the go also helps on the wet days! Drone case: f-stop
Coffee on the go, a lifesaver, Outin portable espresso machine was fantastic, highly recommend
